Having no new trips to comment on for the moment I thought I'd share a few pictures of the harbour of Las Palmas, Canary Islands with you. I always enjoy visiting a harbour. It seems like a very exciting place where many things are happening. People and goods are coming and going. There are ships of all shapes and sizes. Some of them really look like they are decaying. Maybe they only need a new coat of paint.
Someday I would like to travel via a cargo to some far away place to feel the length of the trip. There is a small problem though, I am seasick... These photos were taken in the area where they were repairing and repainting old boats. Aren't the names "Invicible” and “Fortune" well chosen?
