Here is a collection of castles and beautiful houses we have seen along the lake of Neuchâtel and Bienne over the 3 days. The first one is the castle of Vaumarcus where you can even rent an appartment or office in the building next to it! The second is the castle of Estavayer-le–lac, a splendid medieval town. The third is the «Bourg» of Le Landeron, a perfect discovery just as it begins to rain… The fourth if a Bernese style castle overlooking the lake of Bienne. The last picture is a model of a house in a redesigned «lacustre» village dating 5000 years back!
