Icy Geneva Winter

A real COLD spell has descended over Geneva. Gusty, icy bise, snow and -10 Degrees temperatures. We are really not used to this type of weather in the city. Braving the cold to go out now means wearing layers: long underwear, boots, hat, gloves and a scarf wrapped around the face, preferably up over the nose.

Many people ask me: Do you go out with your baby in this weather? I figure it does us both good to get some fresh air too and decided to use the buggy in these temperatures. She is tucked into a sheepskin sleeping bag and her head, face and nose are covered and a layer of plastic cover keeps out the wind. She seems to sleep fine. It is all the more enjoyable going in for a hot drink somewhere after a walk in the cold.
